Contra Dancing Class (4 of 4)  Learn Contra dancing from the ground up.  This moderately vigorous dance form is easy to learn, highly social, and can open you to a lifetime of enjoyment.  Four week-night class sessions will get you familiar with the basic moves, and allow you to fully participate in Contra dances here and everywhere.  Class fee includes admission to SpringAlive Festival Dance on May 13th.
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

First Thursday Open Jam  Anything goes at this jam.  Bring your acoustic instrument and your voice and be prepared to call out a song or a tune; Irish, Bluegrass, Old Time, Square Dance, vocal, whatever.  Variety is good!  Meet upstairs in the Mountaineer Room.

Family Dance with David Kaynor, Sue Songer and Lanny Martin  Families of school age children are invited to a special dance just for them.  Massachucetts dance caller and musician David Kaynor leads the dancing and fiddles, while Sue Songer and Lanny Martin back him on an assortment of other instruments.  Don't miss this tremendously fun event.
